PUBG creator announced a Roblox-inspired web3 game
Krafton unveils it new gaming project - Overdare. Earlier this year, the project was announced as a collaboration between Krafton Studio and Naver Z.
“We believed that if we could produce a Web 3.0 based product as advanced as Web 2.0, these enthusiasts could greatly help expand our product’s ecosystem, serving as both our users and collaborators. Much like how many successful products grow alongside their core fanbase.”
The game, inspired by Roblox, is built using Unreal Engine 5, harnessing its AI capabilities to empower gamers in creating their preferred games.
Previously referred to as "Project Migaloo," the venture is slated for release between January and June 2024 on its dedicated blockchain, Settlus. This open-world platform allows users to craft games and environments with AI tools, partake in a diverse range of user-generated games, join virtual concerts, personalize their avatars, and much more. "PROJECT ZIRCON" is our first web3 project that provides customers with a new co-creation experience by utilizing blockchain technology. Starting today, we will open SNS accounts and begin pre-registration. Details of the project will be announced at Tokyo Game Show 2023, which will be held from September 21st (Thursday).
