• Pahdo Labs closed $15m in a Series A funding round

Pahdo Labs, the development studio behind the Anime-inspired ARPG - Halcyon Zero, closed a Series A funding round led by a16z, Pear VC, BoxGroup, Long Journey Ventures, Neo, and Global Founders Capital.

The game features an immersive fantasy world layered with bustling social hubs of anime heroes which players get to choose from to engage in fluid combats in chaotic arenas.

With the help of it game creation tools, Halcyon Zero seek to enhances players creativity, experience and ultimately lower the barriers for creating aesthetically pleasing visual Designs.

Halcyon Zero pre-alpha will feature four characters - Spellblade, Enchanter, Witch and Spitfire. Read further.

• Neowiz and Intella X joined Avalanche Arcad3

NEOWIZ and Intella X aim to advance in various critical areas of Web3 gaming, including NFTs, culture, infrastructure, and innovative blockchain gaming strategies.

Avalanche Arcad3 is a collaborative Web3 gaming education initiative tailored for both Web2 and Web3 industry leaders. The initial cohort comprises notable participants such as TSM/Blitz, Shrapnel, Merit Circle, NEOWIZ, and more. The program offers comprehensive resources, including educational content from Ava Labs covering topics like Web3 game tokenomics, compliance, and business models, as well as office hours, technical support, networking opportunities, and more.

This partnership is particularly significant in light of Avalanche's growing influence in Asia, particularly in the Korean and gaming sectors. It's worth noting that NEOWIZ is the fourth among the top 100 gaming companies, ranked by market capitalization, to collaborate with Avalanche, joining others like Alibaba, Tencent, and GREE, all of which are based in East Asia. • Pixels set to migrate to Ronin

Following the footsteps of Wildforest, The Machine Arena, Battle Bears, Axie Champions and more, the Polygon-built virtual universe is set to tap into the active community, tech, marketplace and frictionless UX, the Axie Infinity-popularized chain has to offer.

Pixels currently have ~5K DAU and over 1.5M monthly transactions
